PASO 1

In the shower, use Biolube V Happy Everyday moisturizing intimate cleansing lotion daily to clean the vulva without damaging it, maintaining its optimal pH and strengthening natural defenses. A moderate amount of product (almond size) is applied and spread by gently massaging the entire vulva - external area - external and internal lips, clitoris, urethra, folds, perineal area, vaginal opening. Then rinse with plenty of water.

PASO 2

V Fresh & Ready is step 2 of the Skintimate routine. Apply externally at least two splashes to neutralize possible odors, soften and refresh the skin, relieve itching, control flow, maintain pH and prevent the growth of microorganisms that cause infections. It can also be used before doing physical activity, leaving the house or during a long day at work or before and/or after sexual intercourse.

PASO 3

Our Biolube V Queen Intimate Moisturizing and Firming Serum is step 3 of the Skintimate routine. Using the dropper, place at least 4 drops of the serum on your fingers and apply the serum to the entire vulvovaginal area (external and internal labia, folds, clitoris and vagina), to provide hydration, elasticity, firmness and lubrication. The serum, like all formulations, maintains the pH of the vulvovaginal area, protects and prevents the growth of microorganisms that cause infections.

Is vaginal discharge normal?

Yes, vaginal discharge is totally normal and we all have it. It can vary during different hormonal stages and within the menstrual cycle in terms of texture. If the discharge changes to a stronger color and is accompanied by a very intense odor, it could be indicating an infection. In these cases it is advisable to visit the gynecologist. We recommend incorporating a daily washing and intimate care routine with the “V Happy Everyday” cleansing lotion followed by the “V Fresh & Ready” refreshing deodorant. This habit keeps the pH balanced and helps prevent the growth of infectious microorganisms.

What is vaginal flora?

The vaginal flora is made up of a population of microorganisms. When in balance, “good” bacteria (mainly Lactobacilli) predominate over “bad” bacteria. This causes the vaginal pH to remain between 3.8 and 4.5. However, alterations in this balance can occur that cause bad bacteria to proliferate, generating a vulvovaginal infection. When there are vulvovaginal infections, the pH can change, reaching 6.0 or more. Therefore, it is important to maintain the appropriate pH to avoid the overgrowth of pathogenic bacteria. Our products are specifically formulated with an approximate pH of 4.5 to maintain the balance of the vaginal microbiota.

Are Biolube products safe to use during pregnancy?

For this delicate part of our body, we only choose to formulate with safe ingredients, without hormones, sulfates, alcohols or parabens. Since every woman is different and pregnancy increases sensitivity, always consult your doctor before using any product during pregnancy.

Can they be used during menstruation?

Yes, there is no problem with this. In fact, its use is recommended since menstrual blood can alter the pH and favor the development of certain infections.
