Vulvovaginal dryness

How do I know if I have vulvovaginal dryness? How can I prevent it? How can I get out of this situation?
Many women believe that vaginal dryness appears at a certain stage of our life, whether during the menopause period or postpartum, and the reality is that this is not necessarily the case, in fact it happens more than we think in different women. who go through different moments in their lives.

If you are experiencing:

  • Presence of pain or annoying friction when having sexual relations.
  • Burning or burning sensation.
  • Irritation or itching in your vulvovaginal area.
  • Discomfort or difficulty when putting in a tampon or menstrual cup.
  • Lack of lubrication and difficulty when having relationships, or not being able to enjoy it and it ends up being unpleasant (both in relationships and in masturbation).

If you experienced or are experiencing any of these symptoms, it is important that you do not let it go, consult with your Gynecologist and begin to make room for your intimate care habits to begin to treat and reverse this situation.

If you have not yet experienced it, we recommend that you incorporate self-observation into your daily life to take self-care precautions and prevent dryness.
